Room 8 is reading Pennies For Hitler by Jackie French. As part of our learning we had to choose a critical moment from one section of the book. My group chose the scene where the Library is getting bombed and the bombs were killing the people inside the Library. Our rationale for this scene was that the Library was an important part of George’s life…he could no longer go there to read books and learn English. He no longer had that place of comfort.
